GiSeek Pro -best software to search images by color
GiSeek Pro supports many useful functions to help users search images by color. Just Click “Search” in the main menu, there are many functions in the popup submenu. So color search module of GiSeek Pro is much powerful than any other software.
1 standard main color search
Users can search images with main color among “the standard 16 colors supported with the Windows VGA palette”.These 12 colors are also defined in HTML specification.
2 User specified color search
Users can use windows color dialog to pick a color. Then search images with this color.
3 Three-colors search
Users can select three color and their percentage . Then search images with these three color.
4 Similar colors search
Find images that have simiar color feartures with current image.The shortcut key is Shift+F3.
5 Body color search
This will help users to find many body pictures. Enjoy it!
6 Mono color search
This will help users to find black-white photos. Old photos always bring good memories .

Smart face tagging
GiSeek Pro 3.0 do samrt face tagging. Just one click to start tagging.
GiSeek Pro will support most peopel/face tags, so users will just tag once and use it everywhere!
1 Automatic face detection and mouse-over highlight.
GiSeek will find faces automatically. When mouse over it, the face area will hightlight.
2 Smat face tagging.
Click mouse button to pop up the tagging dialog. Users can clear ,add or edit name and other infomations. For example, input the name “mary”. Click button OK to save. These infomations will be saved in XMP-MP, IPTC and other metadata. So many software will show these tags.
3 Adobe Lightroom will show these tags.
Open this photo in Adobe Lightroom. It will show the name ”mary” in the keyword . Open “IPTC Extension” metadata, it’s also listed in the “Person Show”.
4 Windows 7 and VISTA will show these tags. Windows Live Photo Gallery will also show these tags.
5 GiSeek Pro can show all XMP-metadata. EXIF,IPTC,DC,PHOTOSHOP,XMP…
Press quick key “Alt+Enter” to pop-up “Image Properties” dialog. In the “Photo Metadata” page, it list all XMP-metadatas. Users can click “XML file” button to save these metadata to XML fle.
6 Further improvements.
The people/face metadatas are very complex. Although there are some improvements, but some companies only support their own tags! GiSeek Pro will support most peopel/face tags, so users will just tag once and use it everywhere!

How to create a gallery
GiSeek will create gallery to store and load image infomation. The gallery will be created automatically in the background when uses view images or open folders. You can also use the wizard to create a gallery with more options.
1 Open image (create gallery in the background )
You can open images from toolbar(Figure 1) or File menu(Figure 2) .

You can find the path and infomation of this galley in the “Galley Infomation” Dialog ( The shortcuts is F9).
2 Open folders (create gallery in the background )
You can open folders from Explore -bar (Figure 3) or File menu(Figure 4) .

3 Wizard (more step,more option)
When run GiSeek for the first time, the wizard will pop up (Figure5, Figure 6). Then GiSeek will scan each photo (including read EXIF information, feature extraction, face recognition, etc).

Scanning process runs automatically in the background without user intervention. For thousands photos, the scan will need a long time. Figure 7 shows the progress bar (in the bottom right of the main interface), which will show the progress.

Double-click the progress bar; you can see the scan dialog box, shown in Figure 8. The dialog shows the details information of scan.
Note: Each photo needs just one scan, so it’s better to add all photos directories, and wait for the end of scan. If user terminates the scanning process, GiSeek will continue to scan the remaining photos when next time opens the gallery.
